Every product on BestProducts9 is evaluated against the same nine factors, so comparisons are fair and repeatable. This page explains exactly what we do, and what we do not do.
The nine factors
- Features: what the product actually includes, by plan.
- Price: published plan prices, free plans and trials, and extra costs such as add-ons or usage fees.
- Ease of use: how quickly a new user can get started, based on documentation, onboarding offers and free trials.
- Performance: speed, uptime and quality claims, and any guarantees the vendor publishes.
- Integrations: the apps and platforms it connects to.
- Automation: workflows, AI features and how much work the tool can do for you.
- Support: support channels, hours and onboarding or training.
- Trust and security: certifications, compliance statements and contract terms.
- Overall value: how the above compare with the price and with the main competitors.
Our process
- 1. Read the official sources. We start with each vendor’s own product, pricing and help pages, and note exactly what they state.
- 2. Compare against rivals. We put the product next to its main competitors on the same factors and record where each one is stronger.
- 3. Say what we do not know. If a price, limit or feature is not published, we write that it is not shown instead of guessing.
- 4. Add hands-on notes when we test. Where we have signed up and used a product, we add a clearly labelled “Our hands-on notes” section. Pages without that section are based on official information and public documentation.
- 5. Re-check regularly. Tracked prices, trials and limits are re-checked twice a week against the official pages. Comparison and pricing pages show a “Last verified” date, and any change is logged.
Scoring
We do not publish numeric scores or star ratings, because we will not invent measurements we have not made. Instead each page gives a clear verdict, names who the product suits and who should skip it, and shows the facts the verdict is based on.
Limits you should know about
- Vendor pages can be inaccurate or out of date, and some are shown in local currency. Always confirm on the official site before you buy.
- Some vendor sites block automated reading. When we cannot verify a figure, we leave it out or mark it as not shown.
- Prices and plans change often; our re-checks reduce but cannot remove the chance of a stale figure.
Updates and corrections
Each page shows when it was last verified where prices are involved. If you find a mistake, please tell us via the contact page and we will review and correct it promptly. See also our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure.
